I've had to adjust my opinion of the little pop twirker in recent years. She grew up and can sing.

I saw/read an interview with her band. They all said she works hard and is very professional. But,,,, the goal of rock is to piss off your parents and the old farts. She did good at that!

    Haha, yep!

She's another one like Gaga that obviously has talent to spare yet was initially known more for her other...stuff.

The Harmony H162 guitar Jamie Arentzen is playing in this video is one of our Baxendale Conversions. It’s his favorite acoustic guitar. Miley is also one of the two best female singers on the planet with Lady Gaga. Jamie told me she was the hardest working and best boss he’s ever known in the music business. He loves working for her.

I've watched quite a few videos of her performing by herself and with others and while people can say what they like about her or her personality one thing no one can say is that she can't sing......she can.

My wife likes her and has had me watch a few videos of her singing with the likes of Metallica, Joan Jett, Stevie Nicks, etc. After stumbling across the MTV Music Awards a few weeks ago(Miley did not perform) and watching it for about an hour, I’m actually starting to think Miley might be some kind of rock n roll savior or something for the younger generations. At least she actually likes to rock out and has the pipes to back it up.

That was a while ago. Back then she had beauty and talent. She went to the dark side. :(

    Sorry, no.

Sounds like the love child of Cher and Mr. Ed.

Could be wrong, but I doubt it had much to do with rebellion. IMO, Miley Cyrus' shenanigans reeked of calculated image marketing first to break her out of the former Disney child star dead end. Then I think she realized the Madonna game really sells and decided to....ahem...."advertise" even more heavily. I'd love for Debbie Harry to get nasty for once in an interview and say, "Well I can see why they did that, not everyone is as drop dead gorgeous as me nor had my pipes."
