I am looking to upgrade the bridge on my Deluxe Roadhouse Strat. Is there a direct replacement? Can anyone share what they have done.

Well, why do you feel the need to upgrade it? Tuning stability? Looks? I think standard 6 point is best personally but it’s all preference.

Why? Is it a comfort issue? String breakage? String breakage is an easy issue to resolve with some 2000 or finer sand paper. If it is comfort block saddles could be the answer. If it's both Graphtech has some very good solutions.

    Hope it works out!

    Check out Mr. Callaham, www.callahamguitars.com.

It may improve your tone , it'll certainly lower your bank account...

    Good Luck!

Yes. I would like to have block saddles like on my Nashville Tele. Will those just fit in?

    I decided to try
Graph Tech String Saver Originals for Strat & Tele - 2 1/16" spacing

It is more comfortable for my muting hand when it is a square design like on my tele. And they look cool. The contrast on the chrome will look good to me.

I’m all for looking cool. But if the bent metal saddles are bothering you when playing, it’s probably because the grub screws stick out too far. Which is fixable.
If you just wanna get new stuff I understand, and stand behind you.

Yes. Make sure you get the right width ones, however.

Only thing to watch for on Graphtechs are that they will darken your tone slightly - even the stainless ones with the just Graphtec contact point - to the point that Eric Johnson has one on the high E of his Virginia strat to shave some treble off.

2-1/16 in old money equals 52.4 mm in new money, so you need the 10.5 mm, not the 10.8 mm saddles. (10.8 x 5 = 54 mm = 2-1/8 inch).

PS of course the 10.5 mm saddles for the 2-1/16 in e-E spacing will fit in place of the 10.8 mm for a 2-1/8 in spacing, but not the other way around.
