I picked up this guitar last week. It started life as an HSS Strat that had seen some modifications at the hands of a prior owner (apparently there was an epiphone humbucker in it). I had some free time today so I finally got around to making this guitar into my new 1 pickup 1 knob strat. I put in a Seymour Duncan JB with a 500k CTS pot and wired it this morning. I’ve spent all afternoon playing it.

I'd love to have a stripped down model like that.

Then again, I'd love a new 12 string, and and another bass, and so on.

I began selling guitars because I felt that I had too many. All that led to was me buying more guitars to “sell” then I end up keeping them.
