Well, just turning it into a head and cab. I don't plan any mods to the circuit. Preparing to take it to the garage for the sawing.

Current speaker indicates it's an 8ohm. So my intention is to use this 8 ohm Celestion cab with a V30.

    I approve this message!!

Cab and head seems the way to go and converting amps to heads again seems like a good idea. Some of these little amps may well sound fantastic played through a better speaker. Considering converting my Mustang II into a head.

I posted something silmilar last week. Mine sounds sooooo good as a head. More Marshall than fender for sure. I put a reverb pedal in front too.

Not much to show yet. Here is a mock up. I saved a piece of grill cloth to dress up the front.

I'm at my son-in-law's and of course the drills are not charged. Nor do I see any drill bits. The reassembly will have to wait till tomorrow.

We don’t say that word out loud, otherwise @Thrup'ny Bit gets all excited, and we all know what happened last time… o_O

Sliced, diced, glued, stapled, screwed. Out of square a bit at the bottom. I've just the weather stripping for that at home. Once I squish it in there you'll never see it.
