I share a happy genetic trait with my dad...blackflies detest us! They land, walk around, go "puhh" and leave without any attempt of a bite! Genetic Immunity. I guess I smell bad to them!

I burn cheap gas station insence in my garage when Im out there and they are gone.
With an oscillating fan to spread it out. It works on flies also.

No mosquito problems at my house. But deer flies are bad, and they find me to be quite tasty.

We have our yard fogged, every 21 days from may to mid October......I havent seen a mosquito in my yard for years. It costs us about $600 each year but it's worth it when your outside with the kids all the time.

Dunno what's in that fog they use but tilt us serious stuff.

They dont really bother me, but lots o' floridians use dabs of vap-o-rub around the body. Word is the mosquito will get close, but not land on you.

They’re so bad here now I wonder if the stuff we put on our dogs would work. (Kidding) kind of.

I can´t get pregnant so I am relatively safe being blood type B but no more beer is a no go.
Luckily we don´t have real moscitos here but just the little tiny fuzzheads I want to kill anyway.
We call them "Mücken". Funny name for such brutal animals.
But I am as a human being more brutal by smashing them, firing them, electrocute them, spraying them with toxic acids and poison.
I like to put some soap into water to kill the little ****ers and I enjoy every moment spraying my home with lavendar which they really don´t like at all.
Lavendar really helps but then you smell like lavendar which should bring you some strange and weird comments being around people....being a real man xD

    All the best,
    Robin

Large quantities of fresh basil plant in pots all around the place where you make outdoor picnic and where you sit.
My neighbour has kiwi plants all around his sitting place and he doesn't seem to have mosquito problems.

I kinda figure if I get bitten enough times, the bites will counteract each other.
