I'm sure any of us that enjoy reading about our favorite guitarists back story and history, have come upon some that make you glad you never crossed paths with them.

I'm talking real low life's who cheat their bands, sabotage shows, just really dirty rotten b*****d's all around.

Share with us some of those that get's you're ire up, regardless of how much you enjoy their music.

I'm talking about recording bands, not the punk in your garage that borrowed a hundred from you to buy a pedal, then split the band, I'm talking big or fairly big time scumbag's.:p

I don’t know about guitarists these days, but Chuck Berry was one of those. Oh and that Hawaiian Elvis Last name of Lomond cancelled a gig with then Kingsmen about 20 years ago the day before the show. As far as I’m concerned he still owes me the money for that one. I wasted 2 weeks learning cheesy songs and he went on with a pre recorded backing track.

If you believe Ronnie, Blackmore wasn’t particularly nice.

If I've never played with them how would I know except by rumor or innuendo?

Don't see the point of this little exercise at all. :thumbd:

I hate mentioning names for many reasons so I will let you guess who it is, here's the story. Back in the mid 80's I was in a touring band and we opened for a lot of well known bands. When we were playing close to home a certain well known guitarist from Detroit was in our area and we opened for him. We had opened for him before so we were at least acquainted with him and my wife kept a photo album with people we opened for. Anyway since we were close to home we had a little party after the gig and invited this guitarist/singer from Detroit over. He showed up about an hour later than his band members and had a girl that was 14 or 15 with him. He didn't stay long because he was anxious to get this girl back to his hotel and have his way with her. My wife was so disgusted by him the next day she got the photo album and tore every picture she had of him out of the album and burned them.

On another note our drummer did the same thing and the next day he was kicked out of the band. This happened a few years after the other incident when I was with a different band.
