Was watching the latest Anderton's video and they posed the question, what four faces would be on Mount Rushmore if they were all Strat players, so like a Mount Stratmore

I'd probably go by decade, so they'd be
50s Buddy Holy or Hank Marvin
    60s Hendrix
    70s Clapton or Beck
    80s SRV

What four would you have carved on Mount Stratmore?

Can't we just stuff the real people and display them in glass cases?

If I were one of them, it would not be that different from my current lifestyle.

I can't decide on the fourth, maybe Blackmore or Knopfler. Or I could just leave it blank and hope that some new player comes along.

Seeing as how Hank Marvin never even charted in the US (as far as I can tell), I think he needs his own British monument.

I never heard of the guy before I came to Strat Talk . . .

He must rank with that SRV bloke and all the other Americans I'd never heard of before I came here.

    Probably.

Considering how many Brits invaded our soils to our welcome public, it's funny Hank Marvin never made a splash over here. Or a drop.
