Yep. they sure can be a PITA!

But, like most of us, being without a band (or project) can be an even bigger PITA.

LOL- as @heltershelton said- us vampires must feed!

@Seamus OReally I'm betting you won't have much of a problem re-inventing your band or creating a new one! BEST WISHES to ya! Hoping the new iteration is better that the first!

Exactly why I've been spending more time with backing tracks! Sorry about your band hassles...I have so many stories...a band is truly the world's hardest group of human beings to keep together. Maybe even harder than a marriage... but that's probably a topic for another thread.

    Bands don't die. They evolve.

    But some evolve badly.

I mean some bands have evolved to having none of the same members.

Those aren't bands anymore. They're business ventures.

Jim will be fine. His one man band is pretty good.

    Unless I find a Duck Dunn...an Al Jackson...and a Booker T. Jones...I'm in the same boat. LOL

Yep ! I know where your coming from as I have been in a lot of lazy hazy directionless bands - my lot has been together for 4 years now and we're on our third lot of recording and have done some gigs BUT they are hard to find -- I am lucky now though as the three of us are determined to stick together and make a splash somehow with my original material some of which is here Cheers and hope you get another band together.

I'm having lunch at a Chinese joint with my drummer today. We'll see if we're really dead or not.
