He's been vomiting every day for the past week or so. The vet couldn't find anything, did a blood test, nothing unusual. Otherwise he's quite normal, but I'm still worried. This can't be good. I think the doc said if it continues we should do a scan of some kind, try to look inside. Waiting on a call back now. Anybody else face this issue?
Ahh that’s terrible, is the kitty dehydrated is he drinking ? Usually it’s a stomach issue parasite or stomach flora imbalance Hope vets find what causing this
Well that is strange...because me puddy tat Patches was vomiting all day a couple of days ago but she is fine again. It happens every so often. She just vomits on occasion but I find it's nothing serious. I suggest you keep your liquor cabinet locked.
Done! I skimmed it, but did not see any familiar. For the past two weeks I've been trying different foods. Seems to make no difference. Your kitty looks similar!
Check to see if dehydrated one one to verify is raise the skin between their shoulders if is snaps back kitty should not be dehydrated if it does not snap back then kitty is dehydrated It’s important that a cat keeps hydrated very important
Hey, Circles. Have you recently tried a new cat food with him? My cats responded in the same way after i tried something new with them. Another thing: does his cat food have any kind of red dye in the ingredients? My girl has a sensitive stomach and cant handle red dye. I think shes allergic. She's been eating nutrish for years now and she's a happy camper. Only throws up when she eats some of the cheaper food i have for the neighborhood strays. Good luck to you, hope everything turns out alright
My cat was drinking water like crazy and after $$$ tests it was her kindneys. She lived with it for a couple of years but eventually went into kidney failure. She passed away a year ago. Not to frighten you (& I probably already have, sorry) but make sure they do thorough tests. All the best to you, it may be something else altogether... Also, one vet missed the kidney angle altogether and when I switched vets they found it on the very first exam. Hope your kitty/buddy gets well!
That's a good sign. He's maintaining himself and not shutting down. Keep in touch with the vet. Good luck.
I've tried a wide range of foods, nothing seems to make a difference. Thanks! Thanks me too! Appreciated! I will definitely mention it when the vet returns my call.
