    New mini amp, Boss Katana

Better sound than the Blackstar Fly 3, but it was more expensive and has a larger speaker and cab.

    You'll enjoy it
Between road jobs & taking it out on the deck, and now my granddaughter using it too. It gets more use than my katana 100

Cool little amp. I have one too. Then I bought a Vox Mini Rythm 5. Same price.

Amazing the cool gear available these days.

I've got a couple 100's....I and II but these are pretty impressive for what they are.... but then I'm sold on Katana's already.

How does the vox mini rythm 5 compare to the katana in terms of physical size? I notice vox do battery operated 2 and 3watt amps too?

It's about twice as big. It also has a bunch of amp models, effects, and a drum machine. Switchable from .1 watt, 1.5 watt, and 5 watts. Also has aux in and mic input. Runs on six AA's, or included 10 volt adapter.

I don't know about their other battery powered offerings.

I have the Katana Air, which is a similar lunchbox-style amp. I use it just about every day.

Happy new mini boss day to you. I was recently looking at the danelectro mini amps.

Hey! Not too familiar with the danelectros, besides they do a honeytone one?... i have had a few mini amps though and have found that generally the ones powered by 6 AA batteries tend to be better than the single 9v battery ones... anyone else find this generalisation to be true?
