I don’t know why my photos come out sideways. Anyway, I had a 15 minute play around. So far, I love it. It sounds fendery. Ever so slightly annoyed that the foot switch was optional. I didn’t pay attention. I turned the volume up to about five. Seemed pretty loud but once my ears adjusted it was perfectly reasonable. Also pretty clean at that volume, but maybe not 100% clean. The reverb seems to get kind of extreme fairly early on the dial. Really seems to accentuate the stratty sounds in a strat. The tremolo is kind of the opposite of the reverb. You gotta turn up the intensity before you actually hear anything. But once you do it sounds great.

I have yet to compare the two input channels closely, not have I tried any pedals, but it doesn’t seem like it’s going to be a use a lot of pedals type of amp- maybe just a boost (in the boost/overdrive category). Also, it seems to be quiet as a mouse when I’m plugged in but not playing anything.

FYI, mine sounds best after it has been on 30 - 45 minutes. Hope you are liking yours as much as I like mine... (I turned mine on at 6 am and will turn it off when I go to bed. It is an inspiring instrument)

I’m really digging mine, although I won’t be able to do much more playing until Saturday. Which input are you using? Even when not using the tremolo, I’ve found the second channel is not as loud (which is fine by me) and maybe a tad less bright.

I use input 1, input 2 if like most Fenders is about 6db lower volume at full volume. I don't mind the brightness (makes the guitars tone knob more useful). I won't really get to play mine at volume until the weekend.

One thing I love about it and why I like single ended cathode biased amps is the way they "sing" (notes seem to go together effortlessly when noodling) And, the amp is punchy. The amp is very inspiring to play and to play through. I have a NOS 6V6GT incoming, we'll see what it does for the tone soon.

The Princeton Reverb may have more power/volume but, it doesn't have that single ended goodness.

After playing guitar for 40 years, this (USA Made Casino) is the first P-90 and hollow body guitar I have ever owned.

The P-90's knock me out, and I'm amazed in my decades of playing, I have never encountered them before.

Like the perfect cross between a humbucker and single coil (I'm more of a single coil guy).

To be honest, every guitar I own (see avatar) sounds amazing through this amp. You can tweak the bass and treble all you want, and its almost impossible to get a bad tone out of it.

It has my favorite tremolo (tube bias) and the digital hall reverb (which I have never been a big fan of before) makes it sound cavernous, for a small amp.
