New Ceiling Fan and lighting day.

It was time to get rid of the builder's white ceiling fan, the outdated chandelier in the dining room and the wall sconce on the deck.

Then, I took this light out of my closet because it matched the lights I put on the hall next to the dining room.

And replaced it with this smaller one.

Bronze to match the dark wood shelving and a LED for LED swap.
Then used the one from the clozet to replace this.

I like your choice in the ceiling fan. I looked at that same one but needed a smaller one for my man cave poker table.

it’s funny, the wives always think you can put up a ceiling fan anywhere in a few minutes like it’s going to wire itself.

Here’s the light we had to have for our home foyer - we looked at like a thousand lights and didn’t like any of them until we saw this. We live around lots of horses and we both thought it was THE ONE. All hand painted from the inside. But it looks amazing lit up or not lit up. It’s the most expensive single thing in our house other than the cars but worth every penny. The pictures do not come close to showing how great it looks in real life. The artist is Ulla Darni 6684E754-D217-43B4-B667-A1DCD4506F6D.jpeg CA58C7A9-4160-4640-B7CA-4482038CA435.jpeg , she’s pretty famous in the art world.

Thank you. It was our third choice and kind of a compromise. I really like the 8 blade smaller versions of Big-A** fans but she doesn't. She was really digging on the 3 blade fans and we found one that we, by we I do mean we lol, liked but decided to check another store for more options. Once we both saw it we knew it was the right one.
As far as putting them in, I had to insist that I did the work for a couple years after we get married. She grew up much different tgan I did and would much rather transfer the liability to the "professionals". I would rather save the money and do more. Plus, I was a carpenter for a while and when my dad retired, he was a journeyman electrician among other things. Wiring them is no issue and now 7 years after we got married, she wants to help wire and install the new lights on the outside (front) next month.
