Similarly, this is entry number 1,279 in my little book of who gives a sh**.
The one piece rosewood neck coincided with the timing of the other American electric guitar maker declaring bankruptcy, citing their well publicized rosewood problems among other bogus reasons to drive that company into the mud. I can only guess the one piece rosewood neck was a poke in their good eye, and I am only guessing that.
I love mine, and it doesn't stink. My last two Gibsons went out, Tele RW and a bunch of money in. A fitting win win end to my use of their guitars.
Here's one for ya. If a neck has a glued on fretboard, it's literally plywood.
And don't even ask about a Les Paul.
When I list a guitar I am pretty specific
For example my Norman b20 acoustic was listed with "spruce top, cherry back and sides, maple neck with a rosewood fretboard
Ive always referred to the fretboard as fretboard and not the whole neck..
so I would describe a neck as a Maple neck with a rosewood fretboard..
