Pretty sure I have both - I think the two shown here are both Crazy Horse, with the strat having Ash Brown and the tele having natural or whatever similar it's called. I also have one black Chromexel (not shown here). I'd say the biggest difference I notice between them is that the Chromexel feels VERY smooth and refined / "finished" on the top and more suede-like on the bottom, where the Crazy Horse style has a very similar bottom but the top is a lot softer and less finished, almost like a semi-suede feel. So the top of the Crazy Horse is definitely softer feeling to the touch (so I'd say "hand" is the right term here). But in terms of "stiffness", I don't think I'd ever notice a difference with them slung over my shoulder while I'm playing.

I thought the Ash one was Black in the pic! I wrote all that while eating a slice of NYC style pizza at a bar!

I wish! I had to go all the way to Pittsburgh to find one (...and for business)! Benny Fieros on E. Carson. (South of dowtown). It hit about a 80% on the authenticity meter but was really good none the less.

I have a pretty clear philosophical problem with eating NY pizza in Chicago, but when I was a young man I regularly ate Chicago style pizza in Tucson, and that was much, MUCH worse!

Doesn't Levys have a strap like that? I have a thick one on my bass.

All the ones I have seen are glued and stitched, but it is very likely I haven't seen all their offerings.

Thanks, but those are glued and stitched. Nice, but not what I am looking for.

I also had a strap problem. My strap kept falling off my guitar. so i did the rational thing and bought the toughest strap i could imagine. Alligator leather. Apparently there are not many people using this leather on projects because it is such a pain in the ass to work on because it is so tough. I Don't really plan on using another strap for like 40 years. Its very impressive. The Seller has a few more on ebay. gator 1.PNG gator 2.PNG
