Serial number search with Fender says Highway one. The two point tremolo suggests it is either a modification or possibly not the original body.
I have a Highway one and The neck is really nice.

Looking at your photos, I don`t believe the locking tuners were stock on the Highway one series so they are an upgrade. The your body has a micro tilt and the colour does not match the serial number on Fender`s site which says it should be a honey blonde finish. The anodised pickguard doesn`t match specs as far as I am aware. The pickups do look the same as on my Hwy1 though.
No matter what it is a really nice looking strat!

I’m curious myself
Was $800 a bad price?

Very cool looking Partcaster. Seems you have the old Highway 1 vintage style pickups with Alnico magnets. Nice!
I have a 2003 H1 which I vrry much enjoy playing. Love the neck on those.
In what state are the frets?

Looking at pics from a HWY1 that I owned...I think the pickups are after market units. As far as I know the HWY1 Alnico 3's did not have cloth wiring....

Another thing that I noticed is (and this is a good thing)....the saddles are from an AmDeluxe....

So, like others have stated....definitely a parts caster....but with upgraded parts...so a win win...

congrats and enjoy....

If it sets up properly and plays like $800, I'd keep it.

Middle pickup is RWRP and it's wired with a superswitch. Someone wasted their time putting shielding tape on the back of that aluminum pickguard: that's like wearing a belt and suspenders at the same time.

I reckon I would be happy to pay $800 for it if it sounds and feels good in my hands.
Personally I think its worth it.
