I was just out on the balcony planting some stuff, minding my own business like normal. The lady on the next balcony was taking some trash to the dumpster, I'm 3 floors up so not really paying attention

Then I hear " my bf is an a-hole " coming up from the sidewalk.

    Ummm, sorry to hear that

" I'm walking the trash out on Mothers Day while he drove over there "

Well yeah, that's kinda not right

She chuckles and disappears around the corner

A minute later he comes driving back around the corner

" i picked her up, that counts for something doesn't it ? "

Uh yeah, i guess so. And thanks for including me in your passive aggressive tiff there folks....

Got home from camping today and my neighbor blew all of his leaves and grass clippings down the sidewalk to my driveway. A-hole! Most of us within 3 houses know each other well and talk everyday, several feet away from each other, but nobody talks to him and he wont talk to anybody else.

    There's always that one...

I like to know my neighbors well enough to be friendly. You never know if you might need the proverbial cup of sugar or something. But not be all buddy buddy with them. I've seen that go south too many times

I usually have the door open and music playing. She's pretty bubbly sometimes. I don't mind talking her a bit. But that was a little uncomfortable.

I just had my neighbor yell at me from across the street for not wearing a mask. I gently reminded her that I was at least 60-70 feet away from her.
Solar panels on a cabin sounds better and better all the time...

Stratoman10, please tell me this isn't the same drunk woman that got your pizza the other night. If so, she might be indicating the desire to move on to a different boyfriend. ;)

14 acres and solar panels here, private road ... neighbors are still a problem, have 2 that clean off their roads and dump the debris on my property, even after repeatedly being asked nicely to stop. Lol, the solution is chosing to die on a different hill. Never thought I could get over a matter of principle, but found it surprisingly easy. One guy was also cutting my trees; had to have an attorney send him a letter, wasn't sure I could trust myself "talking" with him again.

But far more good neighbors than bad. Richard Hoover of Santa Cruz Guitars used to live next door.
