Being a young guitar fanatic in the 80s I was exposed to new and exciting music, guitars and guitar players. Over the top flair and hair. I owned a Kramer Beretta and Focus. The Nightswan though... outta my reach. Fast forward 34 years and BAM!! The 2020 Kramer Nightswan! It's based on the '87-'88 Vivian Campbell sig. I've owned this beauty for over a month now so I thought I'd share my opinions. The overall build quality is amazing for a sub K guitar. Fit, finish, frets... yes! The neck has a killer profile and beautiful ebony board and very cool ping-pong inlays. Not only that, it's just a hair longer than Gibson scale!!! It boasts 2 Duncan JBs. A bridge and middle. Yes, both are absolutely usable. A single volume. I do wish it had a tone but... the 80s man. Anyway, the only thing semi-negative thing about this guitar is the frets though perfectly level and finished ends were in dire need of polishing. Easy enough and the tuners were the tightest I've ever encountered. I thought that they might explode as I tuned her up. Great guitar. The 80s inspired riffs just won't quit!
