^ same. Guitar looks great, and I like pearloid, but it only works with certain colours imo (metallic colors mostly. Like CAR, Shoreline gold etc). It doesn't work with this colour for me. The colour itself is real pretty though! White blonde?

I didnt know the CVS where made in China mine are Indonesian.

Who cares what I would do? I've gotten rid of guitars because I didn't like slotted tuners. I've gotten rid of guitars because I didn't like gold hardware. And I quite like the cream-colored pearloid pick guard on my Strat.

At least up until 2019 which is a production date of mine MIC CV 50s. Also blonde.

The pickguard is not periodically correct, but it's a nice twist in the look. 1-ply white is a little boring, but I like it.

Neck looks nice.

No need to change pickups in this MiC CVC, unless you are after something in particular. These are very nice ToneRider AlNiCo III pickups..

Personally, I'd do a single ply guard, but also looks good as is.
I would suggest to check the intonation of that guitar.
I'd be hard pressed to believe it is correct as is.

Woahhh wait that’s a classic vibe Squier??? I had no idea they had flamed maple necks with *that* colour of body! Beautiful, congratulations!

I like it. Pearliodious pickguard are not my go to, but I like it. I'd keep it.
