Today's new release is some psychedelic acoustic ukulele blues. I played my Taylor 556ce 12-string for the whole tune, then cheated by multitracking the slide solo on my 610ce 6-string.

I haven't updated this in a while as it's been mostly acoustic lately, but what the heck, here are the latest.

@CigBurn says I should keep posting, so I will. :p The last four that haven't been posted here are:
    • A silly electro-ukulele take on the Drifters' take on 'White Christmas.'
    • My possible new favorite, a folky trip to space for 'Looking at Ants.'
    • An electro-folk love epic, 'In a Daze.'
    • A tear-jerker tribute to the singer's sister who passed away from Leukemia called 'Better.'

Thanks, stratobiker & oldrank! I've been on the forum, but didn't see your posts until I just now came back to this thread to post this next new song. Thanks for the encouragement! We're doing the broke musician slog, but are keeping at it.

The latest is a laid back ukulele reggae zombie love song. I can't tell you why. I don't write'em, I just arrange and produce'em. :) It's a Strat-like Steinberger on all four guitar tracks on this one. The video was obviously very fun to shoot. I filmed and edited it. It was just Cammi, a makeup artist who worked for us for way too cheap, and me at a cemetery for a few hours Saturday. I can't believe we didn't get kicked out.

In other news, we got a little local press tonight about our last single and the related fundraiser for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Good stuff as usual! Didn't see you'd already commented above on the KSL story though (oops).

It's been a while, but we've got a new song & video out. This one's a slow, arty video about depression. Hopefully a moving one. No Strat content. There's a Jazzmaster on the recording. That could look like a Strat if you squint a bit.

Playing catch up again. We just put out a cover of strat-talk's official favorite artist - John Mayer! Cammi, the singer picked this one. Sorry, I played a Tele on it!

Which is fair cuz I picked the last cover and it's like 35 years old.

We also put out a cute original last month.

Thanks, @CigBurn! We're posting a new original Monday from the same session as the John Mayer cover. I have to say, I'm pretty proud of the solo on it, on a Baritone Blacktop Tele. I enjoyed doing these two songs with a live, stripped down setup for a change.

Here's the latest. Stick around to the end for the solo on the baritone Tele. I worked hard figuring out what to do on that!

Thanks @nungesser. I'm really happy with most of the sound. I wrestled with the mix on the solo a lot and still am not quite happy with it. I'm afraid I don't have micing amps down yet and what worked great for the rest of the song didn't cut it for me for the solo. It's close, though. The journey continues!

and @Groovey, yeah, you've got some catching up to do. We're probably close to 40 songs on YouTube now. Get listening! :p

I'm woefully behind in this thread but listened to the latest offering. You guys have really matured as a band and this tune is particularly good. A+ all around!

Thanks, guys! But @Mouse, you're gonna take back what you said about maturity after you see the Halloween video we're putting out next month.

The latest is a bit of Halloween silliness. The black & white footage is from real recording of the basic tracks 2 years ago. We shelved the song as too silly back then. Apparently nothing's too silly now.
