I own too many Strats already*, so in a perverse way I’m always somewhat happy when they release a bunch of new stuff that has no appeal to me whatsoever.

So far, this is one of those years.

    Cheers, Fender!

I see the 'Ultra Luxe' models have Stainless Steel frets too! – I think that's a first, well... for non-Custom Shop models? Must be!?

The very best two pals a man could ever have – in my honest opinion :) !

As someone has said, that 75th model is literally a Player with a commemorative neck plate and a painted headstock for an extra £300.

The Ultra Luxe has good features but is drastically over priced IMO.

    I’ll pass.

I have to agree – if I had like... LOADS of Strats, like a collection – I think I could fit a matching headstock in, but I'm very traditional in my tastes – and I have a strict, self imposed limit of three electric guitars, so there's no way I could personally make room for anything released today.

Unless of course they released an American Original 60s in Fiesta Red :) !

    oh jez.......

    thanks for that !!

I don't like painted headstocks, so that's the ultra luxe out
    but......
the 75th ann. are really nice !
    including and especially the basses.....
the Noventa tele is nice, but............
and here's where I will get shot down !!!
    P90's on a fender ?
    no, no, no !!!
    I say no,no, no
just buy a non fender instead !!
    that's my rant over ...
    cheers dave

The Floyd Tele is the oddest one.

Teles with Floyds have been done before of course, but I’m not sure they ever attained any level of popularity.

Still, I’m not one for sacred cows, Fender are kind of damned if they do innovate and damned if they don’t, so fair enough if they play around at the edges of the range to see what works.

Stainless steel frets and matching headstocks are tempting.

Mostly more of the same but I do like the Noventa series because of the P(M)90's. The Tele with the single M90 is cool but they screwed it up with the 3 barrel bridge which could be switched out no problem but... So the 3 M90 Jazzmaster is more up my alley.
