Ok so on my other thread I said I got a Dearmond by Guild. I did. But it was the wrong color. Now the guitar is in my house. Pawn clearance like Guitar Center does they had to hold it. So I got the purple not the blue. Look here. 2 example pictures. My camera would not take a good picture at all. It has a major ding in the side and a large scratch on the top near the control knobs. It is dirty and needs new strings. The knobs has been changed. It was used.

The tip switch is amazing. It moves diagonal instead of up and down. That is class. I want to change the humbucker rings. They are not broke but I want some nicer ones. Which ones do you suggest that is gold plated? It is not heavy at all. But it might be chambered? Compared to my Italia guitar by Trev Wilkerson it is light. My Italia single cut is fiberglass finish on wood and it is really heavy. So this single cut is light.

I have a used Fender case that come with it. For a acoustic guitar. It was cheap and they let me have it it was used.

So I like my new guitar.

I would love it and pet it and squeeze it and hold it and call it George.

Seriously, that is one cool geet.

That pick guard can be polished and new again with very little effort, cool guitar.

You mentioned everything but the price but the words pawn and clearance would lead me to think it was reasonably priced. Nice guitar and I would never put a gold pickup ring on a guitar with all chrome accessories because it just stands out like balls on a bulldog. They do make a black chrome ring that would look killer though. Love the purple and think I would rather have that than blue. A black roller bridge would also look great on this. I would definitely add it to my collection.

Those are best pickups by DeArmond.
I picked up a set for my 2001 DeArmond M-66 that came with the "DeArmatron" pickups.
From what I have found they had 3 pickups, a basic Humbucker, the DeArmitrons, and the gold made in USA.
Again from what I have found, the basic HB and the DeArmatrom came on the guitars built in Indonesia while the gold USA came on Korean built guitars.
    Is yours MIK?

Some came with Gold pickup rings, the ones I have came with them.
Not a great picture but you can see them a bit. 20200418_142048 (3).jpg

I like the tailpiece and the headstock inlay on yours, a nod to the Guild designs that were used for DeArmond guitars and later Squier Series 24 line as well.
    Nice guitar
    Enjoy

In my world a guitar with a trapeze is just asking for a Bigsby, but I'm one of those weirdos who loves Bigsbys.

I want a roller bridge because I love them. And dislike tune-o-matic bridges. And I would and will put gold plated humbucker rings on it if I can. I love gold plate on all my guitars. And you can easily gold plate the parts when the finish wares off.

But sadly a guitar play and the cork sniffers will not do that. To much money they say. But if I had a Nickle for every time they said I must own and buy a expensive 3000 dollar guitar and amp. 600 dollar guitar stand, 80 dollar cable, etc... and 40 dollars cheap gold plate is to expensive and not really worth it to them. :D:p

Korea made not Indonesia. And the ones set to America and they installed the pots and pickups. Then addressed any issues with the imports like G&L does and PRS does on every import that that is ever made.

LMAO how true. I have owned guitars costing as much as $3,800 and some amps that were $1,800 and honestly I wasn't impressed. I ended up selling them all because I have $200-$500 guitars that blew them out of the water and as far as amps go I kept my Mustang GT and Vox VT 50 and that's it. I use them in the studio and they sound great. I say buy whatever speaks to you and don't listen to anyone who tells you you HAVE to do something. I stopped listening to the vocal majority long ago and do what makes me happy.

I love expensive guitars and own a few. But to a cork sniffer a 3000 dollar guitar is great. 40 dollars for a bottle of gold plate is too expensive. And gold plate is ugly and wares off easily. Not if you gold plate them very thickly.
