I like these things but they seem to have about a 3 year life span. My old one still works but its gotten way slow. Doesn't seem to matter how often I clean it up its just tired I guess

Love my Kindle. I crushed the previous one to death with my hand when I kicked the table leg. The pain!

Got a Kobo 2 years ago, read 80 some books on it, most of them borrowed for free from the library.
Love them, can read in bed without waking up the Ms Boubou with the light, can choose the font size.
P.S.: I thought the kindle was just an ebook reader, yours seems to have much more

We bought Kindle "Voyagers" back in 2016, both are still running fine...but with the impending death of 3G, we'll be limited to wifi only. Looks like our carrier (Verizon) has targeted Dec of 2022...so unless they die of old age, we're not doing anything.

We just read. Never needed colorized e-books.

I saw one on Amazon but I've never seen one in the wild. Looked like 250 bucks. This is 179 and its the same one I had, just newer. Was nice to have everything transfer right over

I still have a Paperwhite from 2013 which is working ok, it does glitch occasionally but you just reset it and it’s good.

Even though I have the Kindle app on my iPhone I still prefer to read on the Kindle as I read a few books in Spanish, so the touchscreen dictionary is pretty handy when I don’t understand a word.
