Jealous. My wife is strongly resisting my urge to buy a drum kit.

Love it! I played in a number of bands with a drummer who had a kit very similar to that. When he finally jumped to a Pearl and put the Ludwig up for sale, his Dad was so sad, he bought it! :)

I'm guessing that snare is effing loud!

I hit the tom and heard the sound of Van Halen.

FYI, my research educated me to the fact that most pro drummers actually play the same kits available for not too too much money to all of us.

They primarily just customize the wraps.

These Classic Maples are literally the same model that Alex Van Halen uses. I saw his tech on a video talking about ordering them.

If you ever want to re-wrap, Dallas Drum is a few minutes from my house. Jon is THE MAN for custom drum work in DFW.

He also likes to take my money for cymbals and snare drums and such.

    Thought I was on drumforum for a moment . . .

That set is a thing of beauty. The same color I’d have gone with.

    Nice!

Every time I sit at the drums during a band break, I'm reminded of why I'm not a drummer.

OK... maybe I'll get a practice pad to beat to improve my sense of timing.

Nice looking kit. If you don't have room, I have a big empty green box.
