Sorry if this has been covered. I did read the related posts but not sure how this guitar fits into the mix.

Here are the pix. It's made in China. Person is asking $80. Is it worth it? Overall opinion? Pickup types, ceramic or alnico?
    Thanks in advance guys!

It's a 2002 refinished Affinity Strat.....just like any other year....cheap ceramic pickups like always on lower end Squier stuff if they're stock, if not they could be anything.....thinner body.....

They had a 20th anniversary neck plate on all Squier stuff in 2002....

Thanks... I was asking because the seller is about an hour away from me. Wanted to know more about it before I took the trip. I currently have no strat. I had to sell my Strat Plus with Lindy vintage hots to pay the rent about a year ago so I guess just to have something to play it's a good move. I could update it and play around with new pups at some point. My expectations are low, I just didn't want to go for it if it's a total POS. LOL
Thanks for the info. Gonna try and bring the price down to $60 from $80.

It's worth $80 I'd say.....and no Squier is a POS.....if it has the Squier logo it won't ever be....

Thanks. That's nice to hear. It should be a good mod guitar. I dig the wood grain on it.
