Started building a IKEA Gorm Pedalboard. I'm not finished yet but thought I'd show progress and will post pics when finished with pedals onboard.

Velcro not on yet because I picked up the wrong kind at the store - dummy me lol.

Anyways got the side hardware on and the handles on as well. Pics with and without pedals. Will pickup some correct Velcro tomorrow.

Velcro is on and we're good to go. Really happy with the way it all came out.

GREAT! Dig the corners and the handles. Good job!

This is strange though- I just got my ST300 tuner, built another pedal board to accommodate it and the other pedals...painted it green, also! (Twilight Zone music here...)

I've built 4-5 over the years, always black...

Yours is much nicer than mine (fancier, your also stained where mine is paint).

Good job man. Tempted to build my own after seeing this. May be a challenge as I struggle to change light bulbs!!

    Looks great.

    Is the power supply underneath?

    Cheers.

Thank you, yeah I love green lol and gotta love the old Twilight Zone lol.

At first I was gonna go with painting it but I seen the green color of stain at my local Lowes and jumped on it. They had two green colors that were very nice and picked up a small thing of gloss polyurethane also. So it was two coats of stain and three coats of gloss polyurethane. I thought it'd be nice to have the stain and polyurethane hold up longer over time than spray paint and plus seeing the grain of wood would be nice.

    Thanks :)

It's a pretty easy build as long as you take your time. I had to hand sand all the wood pieces because we had a storm roll through over the weekend which knocked our power out for two days straight so I had nothing else to occupy my time with. If I had electricity at the time I could have used my electric hand sanders lol which would have went faster.

Again if you decide to build one just make sure to not rush it and take your time. If you decide to build one and have any questions than feel free to ask and I'll be more than happy to help and anyone else here would be glad to help as well.

    Thanks :)

ATM I'm not using a legit power supply per say but a 1 Spot power supply that powers all pedals. But soon I'll be picking up a legit power supply and there is plenty of room underneath for mounting the power supply.
