I finally did it. I sold all of my amps and old touring gear.
Racks, switching system, heads, cabinets, isolation boxes, mics, pedals, even my backstage warm up amp, my old Mesa F30 with the blown transformer. They're all gone.

A friend of a friend has been after me to sell him my old rig for over a year, and I finally decided it was time to let it go.
He wanted the whole enchilada. He showed up, we did the money transfer and loaded it all into a van.
I have mixed feelings about it though. That gear was with me for a very long time. Ahhh, memories.

But ..... out with the old, and in with the new, so I've heard.
Now I'm rebuilding my home studio to all digital, based on this ...

Sorry for the grainy pic, my iPhone battery was at 3% when I took it.

This thing is an absolute beast. I've only spent a couple hours with it, but I'm loving it.
I cant even imagine the tones I'll get once I get past the learning curve.

Below is a clip, done direct with my American Deluxe Strat.

These are basically factory presets. I only twisted the knobs to adjust overall gain and input / output levels.

Start - 0:47 — Eric Johnson inspired lead tone
0:48 - 1:38 — Classic Strat tones ala SRV, Mayer, etc.
    1:40 - End — Inspired by Gary Moore - Strat & Marshall

@thomquietwolf -- Not sure I understand your questions, but ...
    It has no speaker.
It can be used as a studio processor into headphones or monitors. On its own, or direct into any DAW, though its made to work best with Pro Tools
It can also be run direct into a PA, mixer, powered speaker or amplifier.

Has inputs for guitars, bass, keys or mics, and outputs for just about everything.

    @Bodean -- Thanks!

Yea, the manual is huge. Its going to be a learning curve, and coupled with the new Pro Tools ... umm, I expect migraines :p

I read up on the unit a bit. Geeze, it is a world of stuff in a little box, then add the Pro Tools to the mix and oh boy. That should keep you busy for a...well...forever and a day.:D
I love the sounds you get from it.

I had a very hard time making the decision. :thumbd:
Not only did I sell the F30, but also a pair of Dual Rectifier heads. Both were early run two channel models, with two matching oversized Recto 4x12 cabinets.

As far as these things go, the 11R is pretty straightforward. I have one myself and I find it much easier to dial a tone in than with my gt-100.

    Have fun!!

Thanks! Now I know who to contact when Im bashing my head against the wall

    Thanks!
How are you connecting the 11R to your iPad?

I didnt think I’d ever convert, but, it just made sense to do it.

@TheDuck sounds great. Massive amount of options which could be a problem for you as you know. But it is always great having options.
How is it in a live situation? I am sure you are still fiddling around with all the options and you bought it mainly for use at home.
    Congrats and enjoy!

    Life is good,
    Robin
