Hey. Really excited today because I received a new Strat today! I got a Fender Deluxe Players Strat. In honey blonde. Gorgeous. Fit and finish were beautiful. Frets were smooth. It is pretty heavy but not too bad.

I was a little nervous because after I ordered it I heard the pickups were kind of Luke warm. Well I'm here to tell you they are really nice. I cranked it up through a small fender tube combo and a Boss blues driver. Those puppies scream. I need to get some new strings on it. (It came with 9s). But that's about all I'm gonna change. I think this is going to be a lifer.

That would be the solid Ash body. MIMs seem to be getting better and better with each passing year. HNGD!

I'm crazy about the bodies on these, I get em and stic on USA parts with a vintage style neck and you can't tell them apart from an AVRI too well. Oh and the honey blonde is the best color indeed.

Well so far I'm really smitten with it. I put heavier strings on it and tweaked it a little. So far I've only played it in the house through my Pro Junior with a Blues driver, but what a sound. Can't wait to try it in a band scenerio.

Not currently in a band for about a year now, but still doing occaisional gigs and jams here and there. I think this'll be a lifer.

PS....Tee H C, that radiator isn't hooked up. Its just sitting there. My roommate (who owns the house) is somewhat of an odd duck, and collects all manner of wierd stuff.
