Not a fan of painted headstocks on some of those. But stainless steel frets (IMHO) are a plus.

Fender usually has interesting new models. And this one is to me....Ultra Luxe. But for 2300...that black headstock doesnt work.

And I try to not be too hung up on the looks. I hate the wy the black and white Shawbucker looks on my Elite but having that pickup is worth it to me. Black headstock....no. Throws off the balance and I would see it all the time Its worse on the maple neck. .

I think the fender amplug thing is pretty cool and I like that they are expanding the squier contemporary line

The only thing in this offering remotely appealing to me is the Christie Hynde telecaster.

Just realized that the squier guitars are getting gunmetal metallic too . Only fender japan uses that

Lets take one of the most iconic things about our guitars....and paint it black. Did they hire new designers? Most of them I find ugly and cheap looking.

Its hard to believe in the whole process nobody said.....these are ugly. As soon as I saw them I thought....8 of 10 people will hate them.

The left-hand model is not an American Ultra Luxe; it's a "regular" American Ultra - being left-handed but playing right-handed I didn't pay attention, but I take it to mean they haven't had a lefty American Ultra prior to this one.

They're reserving ash for the Custom Shop and special editions like these 75th Anniversary models. It looks like these new American Ultra Luxe models have "made the cut" to still be ash.

Yeah, love the body, love the pickguard etc, love the frets and dark fretboard.. no can do the painted headstock. Just realized I already own this guitar, only in partscaster mode.

Why would you release this ultra modern strat in sunburst? At least use some modern colours so that it fits the theme of the guitar

I’m thankful that I already own all the Strats I’ll ever need.

Anniversaries are so common place with Fender these days that, IMO, they’ve become somewhat meaningless.

Yeah, not seeing anything aesthetically pleasing about any of the new offerings. MAYBE the Ultra Luxe Tele in Surf Green, since it doesn't have that fugly painted black headstock, but otherwise, it's a pass on 2021.
