    The 75th Anniversary "standard" models are really really nice.
    A couple of the special models are intriguing.
    The little pocket Mustang looks interesting and will likely be worth the $100.

    Seriously considering the Champ or maybe even the Pro.

    I think just minus the black headstock, this is a killer Strat! I hope they release a non-painted headstock !

    +1 that stainless frets is a huge plus but these painted headstocks are a huge minus too

    Finally Fender did the Ultra for lefties... I wish they just added SS frets without the painted headstock.
    To be fair, I actually like the surf green tele w/ matching headstock. That one I find charming tbh

    Noventa meaning 90, I presume the pickups on that series are a take on P90s.

    Funny. Looking at them this morning and I'm not as repulsed as I was last night. Maybe the black headstock grows on you a little over time. Maybe....

    Is 2021 the year of the painted headstock? Like someone else said, I'm not a fan. Of course, I like the original 54 - 60s strats. Single coils, 6 pt trem. traditional wiring. traditional paint, i.e. no painted headstocks. I have a MIM I modified years ago, then haven't played for a while. Not sure what I did to it, but not liking it now. Going back to stock soon. Heck, you could take the bridge pickup out of mine and I wouldn't notice too much. P90s are interesting and glad to see the Chrissy Hynde model. The $15k artist model is nice but $15K for a guitar is just not in anyway realistic for me. THat's a whole other thread subject...

    They never said it was completely discontinued and won't be used anymore. They're just limiting what they use it on. I've posted the actual announcement that Fender sent out to their dealers here on Strat Talk if you'd like to read it. It has the SKU's of discontinued models(of which this isn't one because it didn't exist) and says what they do have will be limited to certain models and used economically or something.

    Considering what they say in that release to dealers, I'd fully expect to see it in a model such as this. It's a 75th Anniversary. You really couldn't find a more suitable model to use it on, IMO.

    There's a Fender group on FB that posted these and my only comment was "those painted headstocks are butt." A moderator removed my comment. LOL
