Just finished putting this together earlier today:
    IMG_0531.jpg
Basswood body finished with about 7 coats of Tru Oil, Deluxe Nashville neck with 9.5" radius, split shaft
tuners, alnico 'staple' p90 neck and Lindy Fralin Blues Special bridge pickups, compensated brass saddles
in a top loader bridge, a 3 way switch with 'either/or' wiring (middle position gives no sound), and an
    electrosocket jack.
Strung with D'Addario Pure Nickel Jazz Light strings (.012-.051).
Knobs ordered and on the way, but i was able to record something anyhow.

Awesome! I’ve got a T with the same pickup combination and absolutely love the middle position...I tend to choose my T’s by how the middle position sounds though. How come you chose not to keep that as an option, just curious!

    @unionjack515,
i have a few other Teles already, and just wanted to try something different on this build.
i'm mainly playing on the neck pickup most of the time anyhow, but this layout will get me
to use that wonderful sounding Blues Special pickup every so often too, and it's easy enough
    to rewire the switching eventually.
    :)

Love the staple on the neck, sounds great. I had one a year or so ago but it was a touch noisy. I should have worked with it in hindsight.

Thanks to you all for the kind comments!
i'm really happy with how this one turned out, and to close out the month of shedding this tune as well,
here's one final version of 'Out Of Nowhere', featuring 'Natalie':
    Out Of Nowhere (v2)

By the way, she's got one brass volume knob now... and i have a matched pair of brass knobs on the way,
as well as a pair of aluminium ones.
The final look is still to be determined... watch this space.
