    So I'm an early riser. About 5:30 this morning as I'm browsing Market Place on FB, I spot a nice color Strat. I open the ad and it says "New Player Stratocaster" and goes on to relay that the guy needs money urgently. The asking price was $475.

    I loved the color and of course, the maple neck, so after a few messages, texts and a trip to the local mall to meet up, I had a VERY much like new 2018 'Tidepool' colored Player Series SSS Strat with all pure white plastics. For $470.

    That last bit didn't last long. What do you think?

    I love the Player series Strats but honestly I prefer the classic original look with white plastics and pickups.
