I built a new WDW rig. And yes those are AC30s! It sounds like an angel farting through a megaphone. Sweet sweet angel farts.

I think it means wet dry wet. The op can say, but I think he has det signal in the middle, wet on the sides. Pretty cool.

WDW does indeed mean Wet-Dry-Wet. I am running the AC30s in stereo with effects and the fender clean with no effects. It makes some sweet really thick soundscapes that you can't get with a single rig. I can EQ each amp differently and use the characteristics of each to shape my sound. Now all I need is another fender so I can have a full stack WDDW rig. :sneaky:

There are some good That Pedal Show videos on WDW. Worth a look on you tube

Back ‘in the day’ I tried a WDW live setup. Was pretty sweet, until 1) you got more than 15 ft from it, and b) tearing down at end of a gig...

They can REALLY shine in a recording setup though...a pair of ribbons in XY, 2 tracks, and your really good guitar sound becomes a monster

The setup in OP looks sweet

They tend not to work in most live situations. Unless you have huge amounts of expertise and cash backing it up.

Hmmm, angel farts. Wouldn't that be more of a trumpet?

When I was in college as a music major we were trying to make names for all of the brass sections... the trumpets were the horny section, the trombones were the b*ners. So in our infinite wisdom we figured out that if you spell tuba backwards you get a but... since the tuba is the bottom of the sound we thought it was appropriate.

Yeah this setup is for studio only. I am just using it for recording soundscapes and sound effects. sometime I run 2 amps or an extension cab live but only when I need someone on the other side of the stage to hear me (**cough** the drummer). Now I can use the dual AC30s as more of a half stack but honestly I have never been in a situation where 1 AC30 wasn't enough. I also don't have 16" arms and abs of steel to haul 2 AC30s around...
