I hope you guys aren't getting sick of these photos; as the sun is setting, it just LIGHTS up this body.
I think I'm so fascinated because it's the opposite of what I normally try to do- a mirror-like finish of a solid color. This stuff just grabs you and says "the hell with your wimpy solid colors- let's party!".

Yes? No? If yes, where? headstock? body front? body back?

I vote back of headstock. It won't pull your eyes away from the front of the guitar but when you turn it over a little surprise.

I've never done this. I have only seen this on line. I searched for fender style custom neck plates and had a few good hits.

Well, I've messaged 2 different neck plate etchers, and neither got back to me, so I'm having a decal made at my old sign shop, and I'll put it on the neck plate.

I just used these guys a month or so ago and was really happy with the result. I kept my design to mostly text and some simple vector line work but I was happy with the end result. Turnaround time was pretty quick.
