What is it going to be?
~ Cool ~
But... How will you fit in there?
Well it might be a seaplane!
Appreciate the strength of the N brace!
Some time ago, I scratch built this RC Electric.
Bleriot of some sort? Looks good.
Model aviation... my other master I serve.
Brushed or brushless motor?
Brushed. This was about 30 years ago.
I bet that thing was cantankerous. This is the last electric I got. 84" wingspan and it has a brushless outrunner. Gobs of power.... for about 5 minutes. Lol
Yeah it ran on a NiCad pack for a race car with a solid-state throttle from a car and was good for about 2 to 3 minutes of run time depending on the throttle setting after takeoff.
Ok didn't have a prop so I carved it out of Mahogany..
Installed the rudders and elevators
Constructed front engine pods abd carved the props out of Mahogany using files and sand
Went with Tamiya dark grey primer...had to add paint to the airbrush color cup 3 times!
You guys are awesome!
I flew mostly line control models I scratch built back in the sixties. I used Cox and Fox 2 cycle engines. What fun!
I tried my hand a two homebuilt full size aircraft, a Vans R4 and a Teeny Two. I still have the plans for the Vans. But my license went with my vision more than 20 years ago. Just great memories now.
