I had one of these back in '09, i played the damn thing exclusively for 5 years, went through 3 fret leveling and ended up retiring it when it needed a refret. This thing was such a great guitar!!

Every now and then a neck with the painted headstock pops on Stratosphere…if you had a body to match .

There's no doubt about it, the CV range of guitars are bloody awesome. I've a 50s CV Tele, and if ever I was looking for another Strat I'd go for a CV.. that or a Tokai. The quality is so good its a virtual 'no brainer'..

Yesterday, I decided the CV50 did sound better...putting a loaded pickguard I'd acquired into my Player, vice the CV (which I'd actually purchased for the mod).

The quality is so good its a virtual 'no brainer'..

Yes...I could kick myself for the number of guitars I've gone through to get to this (less expensive price) point. LOL...it's the journey.

Its a crazy world.. when I was a kid back in the 60s.. all we could afford were crap copies.. and they really were crap. Now, you can buy a CV and be out gigging it the same day. They are a professional instrument.

I've certainly gone through the paying more for less, that's why I'm so enamored with the CVs..
