Beautiful, my favorite combo of features, maple fretboard, single coil pickups, and ash body. Congrats!

This electric stuff is all new to me and I’m strictly a hobbyist (playing at home 99% of the time) so I want to get to know this little beauty for awhile before I sink serious money into a nice amp, pedals, etc. Thus for now I’m just going to use a Fender Champion 50XL.

The Fender Champion 50XL is a perfectly respectable amplifier.

And only 19 pounds gross weight.

I would gladly gig with one.

    Beautiful guitar!

I was primarily a fingerstyle/classical guitarist forever. Got into electric about 7 years into it. Used Les Paul at a ridiculous price.

My first Strat came about 4 years later. After decades of rosewood, the maple fingerboard completely threw me.

But I loved the sound so much that I more then just “stuck with it” and, man: it was sooooo worth that extra effort.

    Enjoy, man. It’s all great!

Beautiful.. I have the exact same Strat. Love it to death. The tone from the V-Mod pickups is incredible. Have fun!

That is a real nice guitar and the finish looks beautiful! You can think of yourself like Bob Dylan who was an acoustic guy for so long. Then when he switched to electric...of course it was a Strat.:)

That is one of the most ridiculous and erroneous comments I have ever seen in a STRAT forum. You might as well have said “waste your money on a piece of crap guitar that will frustrate and discourage you first”

The only burst I like. Beautiful Guitar. Yeah it is a lot of fun exploring the soundscape that electrics open up to you. I am at year 2+ and discovering stuff all the time. Congrats and have fun with it. What amp are you using?

    Ashtastic grain! Wonderful choice.
That and a good amp can go far.
    Congrats!

Congrats with your new guitar. If you had removed the label and claimed it was an Elite, I'd believe you!

    My Elite looks almost identical:
