This color is stunning in person - Dark Night with rosewood board. I like the pickups, and I like how you can add in the neck pickup with the push push...gives it a middle position tele vibe. Feels like my old American Deluxe with the neck and heel. More pictures after I finish playing.
Nice! I really want to see one of these in person; back in the day I used to really like the old blue pearl dust Strat Pluses and want to see how the Dark Night compares to my memories from the late 80s/early 90s.
Congrats! I always love blue guitars. The tone of blue on your guitar is one I've never seen, very unique! Hope you enjoy playing it and getting some great sounds from it.
Mmmm that color is gorgeous. Anxiously awaiting more pics...I am considering pulling the trigger on one in the somewhat near future, but would probably do the maple board. Congrats on your new acquisition!
That is one pretty blue guitar...HNGD. It's proving the most popular color of the new models. You don't happen to have a wiring diagram/service diagram for that setup do you? Really curious to hear your impressions/the differences between the V-Mod II pups and the V-Mods. Haven't heard anything much about what's different.
Thanks all! Here are some more pictures: The store had the maple board version of the same color too...also very nice. I just prefer rosewood boards. But yeah lots of depth to the color! No I don't have a diagram for it. I'll eventually pull up the pickguard and take a peak under the hood when I change the strings to 10 gauge. I didn't have too much experience with the first VMods, so in my limited experience, I will say the the version II seem to have a little more character to them.
I like that color...but oddly, I was digging that case for some reason, looks so plush. You get some good'ns..
Thanks all! Yep plush inside (not as plush as a TKL case), but these cases are on the heavy side lol.
