So I bought this used for 800. It's like new all the case candy and the original case too.

I have been making partsocasters for a while and I was always feeling like something was missing or things weren't perfect. Then again those were all Squier parts. I have also bought a few squires that quality and finishing were great but had to upgrade tuners or bridge and pickups.

This thing is the green I wanted with the rosewood neck I prefer. Very smooth satin back with rounded edges that just feel great. The pickups are not like my vintage noiseless but are fat 50s. They are a little noisy but sound way better. The tuners hold tune perfectly but I prefer vintage style for laziness and looks.

However this thing just feels and sounds right left alone. I am really happy I found the guitar that I love the sound, feel, and look of. I am going to get rid of my Squier collection. I think I finally came to realize that I would rather have one guitar that gets played like crazy than three that get looked at. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1450972409.372497.jpg

I love it, congratulations! Happy NGD! :)

I think I remember a recent thread where you mentioned you were looking for a guitar like this? It may have been someone else.

I had a guitar that looked just like that one time. It was an early 2000's "Texas Special Strat".
That was the name of the model.

What model and year is your guitar?

My envy is green, like your new guitar. I've wanted one in that color for quite a while now.

Congrats! Love the color. And Fat 50's are extremely versatile.

Yep that was me. According to what I found these were FSR for guitar center. They made 400 in each color, she'll pink , daphne blue, and surf green. If you look at GC website they still show she'll pink.

Very nice - I used to have one from that 2013 run (it was a Guitar Center exclusive here in the USA) in sonic blue. Still regret having to let that one go.

Actually the blue was sonic, not daphne, but it was a darker version of sonic compared to what they are currently using on the American Specials.

Or would just hold it and stare at it for 30 min then realize you've wasted the little practice time you had.
