I really enjoy my green apple Classic Series 50’s strat. Good purchase, congrats!

Now...leave those vintage tuners alone man!!!:D That’s part of the charm. In fact, it will no longer be a Classic Series 50's if you put lockers on it. Btw, the vintage tuners work great.

They are definitely growing on me. Too much of hassle to find locking tuners that look vintage.

Those are great guitars! You got a good deal on one in a great color, too. Congrats!

Those have the vintage style tuners. I wouldn't bugger it up with modern looking locking tuners. It shouldn't even need new tuners, but if you can't do without them there are locking Kluson's that look like vintage tuners and probably have the same spacing for mounting screws.

Love it! One of the awesome things about Fenders in general, compared to say, Gibson, is the color range. Back in the 80s when I was in 10th grade, I got a little Strat pin in a light blue like yours (there was no SB version to match my Strat) that I put on my jacket collar. It has been a favorite color ever since. I recently got my first blue Strat, a tropical turquoise Eric Johnson that is very similar to Daphne, and man it's a beautiful thing! Have fun!

Mostly agree (tropical turquoise is pretty close to me) and surf green is a close second for me.

Send me the link. I saw fender had locking tuners that had vintage buttons on it but I think they are discontinued

I wonder if there is a model or a neck that has a 7.25 v neck but with larger frets out there. I'm curious to try that out in the future. As it stands, I think it's better than a lot of the strats I personally played. It might just be that those werent setup properly but as it stands, for less than the price of a players strat new, this new guitar is well worth it.

It's not a "fake truss rod stamp" it is the end of the walnut infill that runs up the back of a solid maple neck where the truss rod is inserted.

Rosewood and two piece neck versions don't have them as the rod is inserted under the board.
