Ok she finally came in. A cool case is the first thing i noticed when opening the box! Tan tolex, brown ends and gold interior G&G.

A few more flaws then i had hoped. Neck pocket has a tiny paint chip missing. Back has minor worming and a few small indents. But otherwise near new.

At first dident like the stock Neck and Middle Pups. But once i lowered them properly they became super clear and chimey. I thought i had played clean before but NO! I had been fooled. I dig them alot. Love the hugeish neck, not much if any V. Still not sure on the 12" radius board, not bad just different.

I swapped the bridge pup back but kids had to go to bed so havent tried it yet..... I will on Thursday. So i need more time w her to fully know but so far so good!

    Looks great!

I actually prefer the flatter radius. Nice dark rosewood board and love the color.

So i finally got some time with it. Sounds amazing plugged in but then I tried unplugged and it has a loud sparkly, great clarity and very punchy.

I compared my mim and that one just sounds really lifeless unplugged, muted and flat. Even plugged in dosent sound anywhere near the EJ (even with the 57/62s in it) ao im putting it back stock and selling it.

I think it was worth the extra $950 difference in price!

So LOVE position 5, 4, 3 are probly the best ive heard and position 2 is decent.

But 1 (bridge solo) is very weak and thin. The bridge is Alinco 5. Neck and Mid is a 3. As in the weakest worst bridge single coil i think ive heard......

Any advice on height? I dont want to raise it more and cause artifact. All are at 5/64 treble 6/64 bass currently.
