I've owned and sold many guitars over the years and only really regret moving on a few, one I do kind of regret shifting was a Fender CS El Diablo Heavy Relic Strat in wide fade 2 tone sunburst. I loved the 10/56 V neck shape and heavy relic feel.

So, always on the look out for something like the El Diablo but slightly different, I came across this and had to have it. A Fender Custom Shop '56 Thinline Strat Heavy Relic in wide fade 2 tone sunburst. It's a Limited Edition produced for last years winter NAMM. COA build date is 4th September 2018.

Specs: Top bound flat top Ash body, hand wound Fat 50s pickups, vintage mod wiring #2, AA quarter sawn 10/56 V neck 9.5 radius, Sanko 6105 frets, weight is lovely light 6.6lbs.

It feels great and sounds great, pretty much like a good Strat should but there is something the thinline hollowness adds to the tone, hard to explain, but it's like that hollow body low end thunk you get when you first pluck a note, just a hint of that.

Hear it in the GAK clip below where Joss Allen gives this very guitar a work out through a Boogie MK 5:25

Very nice :) once you've tried a semi hollow body it's hard to not want one... ;)
