Got the pink one first and the blue one today. Anyone else get one of these??
Cool! How do you like them and what do they compare to in your guitar arsenal?
My other two guitars (Fender Masterbuilt HM Strat and Gibson Joe Perry Goldrush) are quite a bit higher end than these two and have nicer pickups in 'em, but the pickups in these don't sound terrible. I'd love to upgrade one of these HM Strats with a Seymour Duncan JB and an Original Floyd Rose 1984.
I just got a white one. I love it. It came completely set up and intonated. I love it. It’s shreddy without being overly Shreddy. I want another. I will pick pink for the next one. Here’s a pic...
Oh, and HNGD!
Nice! I went with the pink and blue since they seemed to have the biggest 80s vibe. The white still looks great though!
My old guitar instructor had an HM strat from around 1989 or so. His had the Kahler Spyder bridge on it. I can tell you that I would rather have one with a Floyd, even the Special, on it because those Kahler bridges are difficult to find parts for. I had a Kahler Flyer on a JB Player strat copy back in the eighties. It was half the cost of the Floyd Rose I had on my Fender strat at the time, but it was also half the quality. Those thread in trem arms would never stay put. It’s nice that Fender used a Floyd on these reissues.
Nice rig , is that one of Paul gilberts pedals ?.
also that Joe Perry les paul is way cool .
Thanks! Yeah, that’s the new Paul Gilbert pedal in the picture. I just threw it in there ‘cause the colors of the case and knobs kind of matched the guitars. As for the Joe Perry, it looks great, feels smooth, and sounds awesome through my amp setup. It’s my favorite at the moment.
Good taste sir that friedmans lovely as well tried one out in London a while back awesome sounding amps.
Edit how are you finding the pedal great reviews about them , does it sound natural like they claim ?.

Nice! i'd rock those for sure!!!
Bonus points for JHS Paul Gilbert sig overdrive pedal too!
So, this happens when strat goes to gym
Happy NGD bro
HNGD and nice rig!
Very cool. What model is the Friedman amp?
Thanks! Natural? I suppose! I mean, it sounds good, and there’s plenty of knob adjustment.
That would be the Friedman JJ Jr! I also recently got the Jerry Cantrell wah pedal, and after that, I’ll have to see what the Gibson and Cantrell collaboration ends up creating!
Very cool. Happy New Heavy Metal Strat Day. May your hairspray never falter and your spandex never sag.
Those are pretty cool. Congratulation's.
