NGD For Me - 2003 Standard USA

Picked this up today 5 minutes from my house. Thought it was a fair price for both of us.

It is in very nice shape and i got the hard plastic case with it. Gentleman I bought it from was a serious player but takes great care of his gear. Minimal amount of fret wear and it is basically new.

Plays really nice, feels and looks great. I had a deal for a 95 fall through last night then this came along really close to home, that does not happen very often.

Anyhow just wanted to share and post some pictures. I enjoy everyone else's so here are some of mine this time.

Nice guitar, Sunburst with rosewood fingerboard always looks classy IMHO. is the bridge stock with the bent steel saddles, or did the previous owner swap the block saddles?

The bridge on this one has been replaced - a 2003 should have had the satin-finished cast saddles with the offset adjustment screws; this one has the 2008-2016 bridge with the bent steel saddles (and center adjustment screws).

I have one from that era. Same finish. Maple neck. To me, they are the very best Standards available for feel and playability. I haven't lived the Standards after

thats even better.... i always hated those block saddles and have replaced them on the guitars i have that came with them.
