The downtown Seattle GC is closing its doors for good tomorrow, and everything left in the store is 50% off.

The acoustic room was pretty bare, save a really nice Taylor I couldn't afford, even at half price.

So I was checking out an Epi Riviera P93 and noticed some finish problems I wasn't going to deal with, and as I was hanging it up there was an Epiphone Hummingbird Pro Limited Edition in tobacco sunburst behind the counter. Regular price $419, so basically $210.

Snatched it up feeling like I stolt it.

Beautiful guitar, bummer the P93 had issues. I bought mine 4 years ago and I love it.

GC going out of business, eh? My local GC has hardly any inventory anymore. I need to be ready to scoop up that pink, rosewood neck strat they had hanging in there the other day.

Technically, they're moving - GC opened a shiny new shop within walking distance of my house, then announced the closing of the downtown store. But yes, closeout prices in which they're losing money but it's better for them than shipping everything to Florida.

I gotta get down there and see if there are any left over items of interest!

I sure hope they revamp how they do a lot of things, but I'm not hopeful.

This particular limited edition is an anomaly in the line because the nut and saddle are real bone. So no upgrade to be done there.
