Beautiful. Love a gold top...
Nice, thanks for posting this!
Thanks! Yeah he's mine too, was thrilled this finally came out and the specs are perfect.
Agreed. Although this neck plate is staying on there, even though I have a blank one lol
Thanks! Can't go wrong with gold lol
HAND IT OVER!!!
Sharp looking Strat! Congrats.
Just watched a video on this on yesterday.... very cool..... if it had a compound radius starting at 7 1/4 Verse 9 1/4.... ld buy it now but that’s just preference .... looks gorgeous
For a small fee lol
I wonder if they've ever done a compound radius starting with that vintage radius. That might be quite the transition up the neck lol.
I like mine. Three way switch, non reverse wound middle, custom wound ‘62 vintage output
His sig looks good, but too much going on Electrically for me
way nice and congrats, i have not heard of this guy either but that strat is stunning.
i like all of fender's versions of gold, but aztec gold is even better to me than gibson gold-top and i freakin' love gibson gold-top.
Yeah, got the Gibson version too lol:
The more I play this guitar, the more the oils from my hands are starting to bring out some subtle figuring on the neck, kind of neat
Gold guitars on bar stools... that used to be @Ebidis' shtick.
Are you sure you're not him in disguise?
Congrats mate, as I said in another tread the spec of this one make my GAS going. I wouldn't change a thing within the spec. Even gold finish is growing on me. What frets are on it? I'm a big fan of narrow tall's...
I got one and it took me a few days to set it up for my personal preferences but once I did it’s very nice, so versatile. The more I play it, the smoother the neck gets. Gotta get better at engaging the volume boost, might see if I can make it engage with a push from the edge of my hand with a different switch.
With top hat knobs I dont know why they don't use push/push knobs instead of push/pull. it would be easier. The other thing that would make it easier would be to knurl the knob both directions so it can e gripped better.

This has medium jumbos on it. Nice feel.
Yeah the neck does get smoother. For the boost, I've just been putting my fingernail underneath the bottom of the knob, easiest for me.
I might change it to 10s and put two more springs on it too.
Is Aztec Gold metallic.?
Nice strat and Lester
Before this thread, I had only heard of Punky Brewster!
As gold, it has a natural metallic quality to it. The limited edition 2014 american standards were a mystic aztec gold, which was slightly more metallic
That’s why I’m a fan of the S-1 switches. Easy to operate and easy to tell by feel if it’s on/off and best of all 4PDT.
