There's things to be getting used to. I was hoping to find one with pattern regular neck but they only had pattern thin. I love the coil splitting option and that sounds really convincing. Not sure if its full split or some PRS trick but it does sounds great. Idea was to have it all in one and IMO there is no better guitar out there that 35th anniversary PRS. Alternative choice was lovely 594 in Mccarthy burst but I just got attracted to CU24 better. As said, no regrets
The pattern regular neck was why I jumped on my Custom 22 when I found it in GC. Ive never been able to get on with the pattern thin. I’m looking at the McCarty 594 hollow body mainly because of the pattern vintage neck.
Hollowbody still gives me shivers. What a cool guitar. I couldn't afford it though. This guitar cost me 5 years finance and I had to sell two amps to pay the deposit. I would have to part with both kidneys to get HB Edit: maybe next christmas
