In keeping with my GAS reduction pledge (I must sell 2 guitars before I ever even think about buying another), I have sold several lately, so I went shopping and came home with this new PRS SE Mira. The Mira is a one of the "simpler" PRS offerings, but offers tones, playability, looks, and lightweight that is truly amazing. This is my 4th PRS, and I have not been disappointed in any of them. This one WILL be a keeper!

Oh yes. Very nice. Usually I would not be drawn to this style guitar, but I played a Mira X? awhile back that was perfect in every way. I shoulda bought it.

I love my 2018 Custom 22 semi hollow SE. It is perfect now that I've upgraded the wiring and tweaked a bit of the cosmetics. Thing is...I can't play it enough because my LB Strat won't let me.:)

While I don't find the shape visually striking, I'll be damned of that doesn't look like the most comfortable body shape PRS has made. The 22 I have is a good playing instrument, but the top edge at the body really should not be so attractively sculpted. Leo was on to something with his body shaping ideas.

Congrats!!! I really like the simplicity of the Mira. I almost bought an S2 Mira back in '14. If an antique white one with dots happened to appear in front of me, I'm not sure I'd be able to resist :).

Nice, the Mira was always my favourite PRS guitar that I never had. The ones I tried all had 24 frets and I like 22 frets.

If I had seen this one I would have been tempted.

This guitar is roughly priced in the same range as the Fender Player series (surprise?). I've played it quite a bit now, and find it to be an actual delight....I can't find anything I don't like, including the light mint green pickguard on a metallic blue finish!! It does have 22 frets and is fairly unique in the PRS line-up in that all controls mount on the pickguard (like a Strat) which eliminates the need for any "backside access covers". It's a hardtail and is really beautiful in its simplicity, quality, sound, and light weight! Oh, both humbuckers are tapped so you can have some single coil sounds! I would recommend it highly to anyone looking for a high quality but simple guitar that is just plain fun and easy to use!

Nice; I've always had a bit of a soft spot for the Mira but never did wind up with one - I particularly wanted to get one of the 25th Anniversary ones with the 24.5" scale neck and P90s. I need to check out these new SE Miras.

HNGD and yes my experience is the same - PRS never dissapoints me :)

I tried an USA Mira X on a store a while ago - the guitar was incredible but with a 1300 EUR price tag I passed...
