I have been lusting after one of these since I tried one once in a shop. Massive neck, pure Strat sound.

Here she is, pics and a Video with its tone after a full inspection and maintenance I have done once received (history included in the video, with pickups readings and neck size measurements too). Strange to see the neck pocket completely blank without markings however I don't have any doubt the body is legit as all the rest...any thought from you?

I should add in the video I go through a stripped neck screw hole with a homemade solution. So far so good and I have done this already in the past to my number one Strat that's still rocking good.

Olympic White, my favorite Strat color...I should say, Olympic White that has aged nicely.

Ya got a good looking Strat, congrats.

Congrats! I also have one in white.
I recently fitted a vintage narrow spaced bridge. Thought it was worth trying. It transformed it for me.

That's the first version of hot rod, great one, I like them more than the version 2 that they made later on.
Great necks on both 62 and 57.

Love these models. Had one for a minute but the neck was tweaked and had to return it. Never found another one.

Why did you need that? Strings falling off the fretboard? Did you get a Callaham?

Yeah strings quite close to the edge, it wasn’t that bad but I thought I’d give it a try. I used a late HWY1/American special bridge which is considerably cheaper. For me it just seems to work better with the roundness of the neck somehow.
I also have an early HWY1 which has the full vintage spacing. It doesn’t bother me on that neck.

Yes I have played many strats with wide spacing with that issue. Even custom shops and EJ model. That's the reason why I like to aligh the neck so that the high e is less close to fret edge compared to the low e. As I explained in the video above too.
Surely the narrow spacing cures it!

Yeah I saw that. It does. Here’s a before and after. (Looking at this I think I’ll put the original scratch plate back on tomorrow)

You still have some room for improvement by tweaking the neck alignment, if you want to move the high e far away from the fretboard edge!
