New guitar day...... Think I need to stay off of craigslist.

Was browsing craigslist while waiting for the car to have it's oil changed and found a new unplayed fender squire strat listed for $140.00.... never saw one the colour it is so naturally had to make a response to his post. He asked for a phone number to call to prevent scams. Said he was looking for trades, or to purchase outright. Said he wanted a remote mount radar detector which I had a new one I got a couple years ago and never used. Offered him my K40 remote mount radar detector and he said come check out the strat. Well it managed to come home with me. Not sure why he wanted a radar detector since they are pretty much useless now days with laser.... But was glad to be rid of something I wasn't likely to use for it.

Here it is in all it's glory. Never saw one this colour before.

Think it is a HSS instead of a sss model which he says is also rare..

Seems to play nice too. Strings seem a little different but likely a different brand than the Eddie ball I'm used to. He had it set up before selling it by his friend that does all of his guitars and a couple of his other band members. I guess he is in the guitar trading business, has a beautiful Rickenbacker I may try to get as well as a Gibson SG, but that one may be more t he an I spend on my cars
