I'm with you. But you need a new nickname generator.

I'd get along just fine with no web. Email is handy, I have to admit, but whatever dude.

Of course, I would miss Strat Talk and Unreal Tournament.

I have a couple of nicknames on the 'net, one of which I've been using for thirty-five years. I just didn't bother using one here.

The article said most regional internet wouldn't be affected because they use fiber optic and its not bother by that, stuff. But we would lose connection from continent to continent.

Not nearly as bad as everyone makes it seem. We wouldnt lose all of the internet. Just connections to the other side of the world, it appears. Facebook, Amazon, Twitter, and everything else would essentially be unaffected.

Seems like exactly none of you read the article. Oh it's got a good headline? No problem. Just comment on that!

    Come on yall.

I have a lot of guitars, amps and FX. I have recording and mastering programs on my DAW's. I also have over 800 DVD movies along with hard drives loaded with tons of crap to read or watch. other things that I can watch on my computer. Internet isn't all that..

Why even have articles at all if nobody's gonna read em and instead just comment on the sensationalized headline?

Writers could skip a whole lot of writing lol. And this ain't just something that happens here. It happens literally everywhere. Nobody reads articles. They read headlines and then comment.

Not having connection from continent to coninent would be enough to turn global financial markets absolutely upside down in half a day of trading, and yes that will effect how much a loaf of bread costs in the most rural of mom and pop markets faster than you think.
